PDVSA is the state-owned corporation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and is responsible for the efficient, profitable and dependable exploration, production, refining, transport and commerce of hydrocarbons. In 2006, more than a billion US dollars of contracts were handled out of the PDVSA-Houston office. From January to March 2007 the value of contracts already reached $650 Million US. PDVSA-Houston is looking to source equipment, products and services from international suppliers.
