Event Overview

The CCA Alberta Breakfast of the Americas will take place on Tuesday June 11, 2019 from 7:30am to 10:30am at the Calgary Petroleum Club during the Global Petroleum Show in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Our theme for this year’s keynote address is “The Future of Energy in Latin America: Innovation and Technology”. Guest speakers will provide a high-level presentation on their own perspectives on the future of the energy sector in their respective countries in terms of innovation and technology and how these aspects are impacting the business environment in the energy sector in Latin America and the opportunities that this might represent for investors, technological innovators and service providers from Canada interested in doing business in the oil and gas sector.

Latin America is one of the most dynamic energy markets in the world, and it has been a natural option for Canadian companies who constantly are looking to identify new areas of business opportunities and be educated about critical aspects of the current and emerging technological needs of the energy sector in the region. According to the World Economic Forum, The Future of Energy implies diverse themes including: Energy Technology and Innovation, Energy Finance and Investment, Future of Energy Demand, Energy System Governance, Future of Power Systems.
