Julio Arboleda Ramirez is an international business and oil and gas lawyer and a compliance and anti corruption expert. He was called to the bar in Alberta in 1996 and practiced at the Calgary office of Borden Ladner Gervais (BLG) for 14 years, and then at Gran Tierra for 5 years, handling both head office and Peru business unit matters. He now has a compliance and international business consulting practice, based in Lima, Peru. He is also a past president of CCA - Alberta. He holds a JD. from the University of Calgary, and LL.M from Osgoode Hall (York University) in Toronto, as well as a Diploma in International Compliance from Universidad del Pacifico in Lima, Peru. He also competes in outrigger (Va’a) canoe and is a Peruvian national gold medal holder in the V6 open category (2019).
