Working with the IDB on Private Sector Projects and Public-Private PartnershipsForeign Affairs and International Trade is pleased to invite you to an exclusive event preceding the Inter-American Development Bank’s Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors, to be held in Calgary, Canada, March 25-28, 2011.
The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is the largest multilateral lender into Latin America. The IDB’s Private Sector Operations program focuses on supporting private companies, like yours, deliver business projects that benefit the Region. The IDB is committed to promoting the expansion and strengthening of the private sector, and is a key business partner for micro, small, medium-size and big businesses and banks that operate in all sectors of the economy.
On Thursday, March 24, 2011, we invite you to join us at “Working with the IDB on Private Sector Projects and Public-Private Partnerships”. This day-long program will run from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, and will give you the unique opportunity to learn how you can grow your business in Latin America through the IDB.
The program begins with a morning seminar on how to do business with the IDB where you will hear from Steven Puig, IDB’s Vice President for Private Sector Operations, as well as from companies that have direct experience tapping into IDB programs. The morning seminar will be followed by a luncheon with a keynote speaker, and the day will conclude with individual matchmaking sessions between the participants, which will include companies from across the Americas. During the late afternoon, there will also be an optional seminar on IDB projects in Haiti. The opportunities for you to make key contacts and grow your Latin America business are plentiful.

Climate Change Solutions Exhibition
